But I'm missing three stupid pages, and they have to do with Kallor! Damn, I just have the last paragraph, so I don't know what's going on with the High King. . . :o

Honestly, I don't know whether I actually feel bad for you or if I feel a wonderful sense of schadenfreude. You are, however, whetting my appetite for the damn book.

One very general question: does TtH have the same momentum, i.e., a rush to a conclusion, as RG, or is it more self-contained than some of the earlier ones?

You're going to sneeze on him?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Does it matter where you live? Probably not, but just to be sure.
What do you mean by full mailing adress?
I'm going to win this :o you'll see ...

Full mailing address means "full" mailing address. They need to be able to get the prize to your mailbox if you win.

And I'm only 120 pages into TtH, so I can't say anything about the momentum just yet. But it's quite good so far, better than ICE's RotCG. :o

You might be wiser if you read the blog and thought about it for two seconds before posting... or certainly sound less dumb.

You're absolutely right, we should ask pat to spoon-feed every single internet user, who can't manage to look all the way down to his signature line.

But you said you've already entered, so you know all this...

alot of the signatures people have are completely stupid so i don't always check them.

they're hardly ever related to the thread too.

i guess the stupidness rubbed off on me though...

"Pat emerged from the bathroom with his copy of TtH, frowning and rubbing his eyes. He was trying hard to read the uber-awesome new book from Steven Erikson, but he was having trouble. Pat just couldn't put his finger on the cause. Perhaps it was the screaming, drooling creature on his head-bhok'arala.

QUOTE (Stalker @ Jan 23 2009, 01:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Major fcuk-up on Saturday night, when I realized that I was missing two considerable chunks of text in the page proofs which added up to over 80 pages. Moreover, I was stuck on page 175 with no chance to continue.

To add insult to injury, it was the weekend, which meant that SE's editor would have no chance to help me out. Thanks to the different time zones, I just woke up and the missing pages have been emailed to me!:o

Back to TtH!:p
