The only, and I mean only good thing that came out of Russell Crowe being in Gladiator was this sketch.

foul lies, Crowe is excellent in the gladiator
In his own words (paraphrased) to the writers
"god these lines are terrible, but you know, I'm going to make them sound good, cause I'm fucking brilliant.

he was right.

Gabriel Byrne in THE USUAL SUSPECTS was brilliant. I really can't stand him most of the time and even i thought he was great in that.

Liam Neeson in MICHAEL COLLINS. He did a great job on the accent in particular.

Helen Mirren as Detective Tennyson in PRIME SUSPECT was a great bit of casting as well.

I'd have to vote for the entire cast of The Usual Suspects - Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne, Pete Postlethwaite, and Chazz Palminteri in particular. And can't forget Benicio del Toro of course!

What's happened to you Spacey? You used to be able to do nothing wrong! 21? What was that?!

Cosidering hes from Anrtim I don't think an Irish accent was much of a strech for Neeson :)

Myself, I'm deadlocked between

All the male roles in the Usual Suspects
All the male roles in LA Confidential

Common denominator is Spacey. Cromwell/Crowe/Pearce/Spacey/Strathairn/DeVito were brilliant.
Same with Usual cast.

Gary Oldman is cool an all, but that movie was ridiculously horrible! It completely butchered the excellence of the book!

Dracula 2001 makes no claim to be based on the book, which makes it awright:P
And Gerard Butler IS Dracula, no doubt!

Are you kidding? I loved the adaption. They added some action scenes and such, but I can deal with that fine as the book just isn't fast paced enough to do well as a vampire movie. And Oldman's portrayal of dracula is by far the best out there. Not to mention that most of the dialogues were excellent too I thought... "My relationship with God has not been entirely.... successful." :)

Dracula 2001 was pretty damn awfull in my opinion.

Woah.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Lets stop this now before it gets out of hand back on topic I'd say Norton in American History X it's a superb performance, also Furlong was very good.
