I think that Qb's Soletaken form is a wolf...in Bonehunters theres a paragraph where Quick Ben's sister is in Poliels temple and she wakes up and it then reads...
"As it whispered shut behind him, the woman, his sister, lifted herself to her hands and knees. Her hair hung down obscuring her face but Paran clearly heard as she said, 'There was a wolf'
He cocked his head. 'A Hound of Shadow'.
'A wolf', she said again 'The loveliest, sweetest wolf in the world....'

Also earlier when shes thinking back to her childhood QB is using a totem animal in the form of a wolf to torment his family.

I dont know if i'm just reading too much into it but what does everyone think?

Personally I think wolf or jackal is too obvious... I honestly don't know what I'm expecting though. Dragon would surprise me, some bird or small predator would disappoint me.

I also wonder if Quick has the soletaken priestess soul's soletaken form or if he has his own. Could the form even had changed to fit the new "user"?

A wolf is the most obvious thing after the latest books.

But id be a little disappointed if it was. It seems a little wussy to me.

If it was a 45 ft tall Wolf with 12 heads then perhaps that would be ok.

I think Tarr has a good theory here. Maybe he can change into various things. When ST called him shapeshifter, it hinted perhaps that he had more forms than just the two.

Some of the posters in Malacllypse Thread suggested that QB's soul-shaping ability is he is able to assume the form of any of the souls that he absorbed
in the Raraku. If so, it would explain why neither the Emperor nor Dancer
recognized him even though they met Delat in the past.

I guess someone didnt know the QB was Soletaken and in truth we really dont know for sure either. I dont think there was a spoiler...though that person is going to get a suprise when he reads TB expecting to see QB veer at some point and it never happens

Ive thought that quickben was a shapeshifter ever since he tricked Shadowthrone though and that was many books ago so......

You know I wonder if another of his souls as a Soletaken form what happens. Can he use both forms are only one?. And if both souls have an equal form can he be a D'ivers or he can still use omly one form?

Im not sure if theres ever been much said on the difference between soletaken and d'ivers.
Is a D'ivers just a more powerful soletaken? or something completely different....
They both have the ability to transform into human as well as whatever beastie they have insided them.... I would like a D'ivers viewpoint....one that isnt completely crazy with hunger and stupidity like Dejim Nebrahl.
Or just a treatise on them from someone!

I don't think one is more powerfull than the other. We see how Gryllen is scared (or at least reluctant) to fight mesremb in DG.

I think there is something to be said about size though, the Denrahbi D'ivers was probably not a d'ivers you wanted to pick a fist fight with.
