Well, if they sign Mollybonk, that would be very good for them. Tainio is a workhorse, and actually has a pretty decent shot on him if he ever gets the opportunity. Chimbonda is good in the air, but whiney, and Kaboul... well, he scores a few from corners, I suppose.

SB - Quincy Owusu-Abeyi? Isn't he a triple jumper?

Owusu Abeyie was sold to someone like Spartak Moscow a couple of years back, which disappointed I think every Arsenal fan I know, as he looked like he had alot of potential in a position we needed filling.

They probably sold him because his name didn't fit on the shirts. It's why no one wants to buy Jan Venegoor of Hesselink.

Oh I dunno, he's ok. Not world class, but he picks up a fair few goals.

So, it looks like Arsenal are after Victor Moses. Wenger says we definitely need one more player. We've lost 2 defensive centre mids, and are desperate for a good CB. So who are we after? A 17 year old striker. Of course.

That said, I would love to sign him, I always get him on FM08 and he turns quality on that, so I'd be well chuffed. :p :o

Also, Fat Paul Robinson is on his way to Blackburn for £3.5mil, further supporting my theory that Ince is a shite manager.

And, more spuriously, Keane is supposedly joining Liverpool for £18mil in the next 48 hours. Looks like the spuds could end up with a mighty strikeforce of the free-scoring Darren Bent next season. :D :p I remember the sitters he missed against us last season and mock delightedly.

i really hopwe keane comes now just to stick is to barry and villa.
I never really wanted barry anyway, and villa sticking out for 18 mill to sicken both us and barry is just childish so let him rot at villa for another year until someone else buys him.

Arsenal will swoop for him for £10mil and Villa will agree sell him just to wind up 'pool and Barry, who will turn it down and run down another year on his contract, as Arsenal will not offer more than 50k a week. That's what I reckon anyways.

I hope Keane goes to you lot, he's an alright player and therefore I dont want him at Spurs.

Hmm, bit worried that Robinson has gone for money... means the Robinson+money=Bentley deal is less likely :o

it seems odd to sell brad for 2mill then buy robinson(an inferior keeper) for 3.5 ok he is younger but i just dont get it.
arsenal are crying out for a centre mid, unless A.V plans on denlison/cesc as his first choice..

In the most amusing rumour of the day:

Quote

Real Madrid are preparing a £31.5m bid for Valencia striker David Villa but the player's agent says he would be interested in a move to Tottenham. (The Guardian)

Yes, that's right, a player who has stated his desire to remain in Spain previously has now decided that he wants to turn down CL footy, a shot at winning League titles, and ridiculous wages, to go and replace robbie Keane in Spurs' battle for a UEFA cup semi this year, and possibly even a finish in the top half of the table this time out. :p :o
