I always pictured Ryan Reynolds as Tehol and Scott Glenn as Kallor. I think those would fit quite nicely. For characters like Karsa and Icarium the problem is obviously that you won't anyone that height outside the WWE and who wants those clowns playing our favorite characters. So what's left is picking the right actor and CGI'ing the fuck out of him ala LOTR, which is also not very palatable.
