Iron Man

Seriously, does anyone else just occasionally drop by the Apple trailer site to watch the various Iron Man clips over and over again?
This movie is going to be so awesome, we're going to have to redefine the word "Awesome." I mean, Robert Downey Jr. was friggin' born for this role, they got the suits exactly right, and they even used the Sabbath song perfectly in the trailers. I mean, I about pissed myself the first time I watched the original trailer, when the Sabbath "Iron Man" started playing as the Iron Man hammered down the metal door and started kicking ass ...

It is going to be great. At least I hope so. I remember saying that Spiderman 3 and Jumper were going to be great as well, so I can be wrong. On occasion. Still, I am very much looking forward to it.

First time I saw the advert I thought this was gonna be the biggest pile of fail since Eragon, but it is growing on me every time I see another one.
I still wouldn't go see it if it wasn't free, but hey

As far as I remember it's a long film, I hope they don't pull a Hulk on us and use an hour sifting through the alcoholic life of the arrogant Tony Stark. More Iron Man less Robert Downey Jr. please.
I am however very pleased that they choose to use the old creation of Iron Man story. With the chest injury and the cold war elements.
Guys this is a man in a robot suit blowing up tanks and... stuff. IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!

First of all, I may be in minority here but I actually like Hulk - it took a certain amount of nerve to turn the source material into what is essentially some sort Freudian Greek tragedy.
I'm very much looking forward to Iron Man although I could have done without the Black Sabbath in the trailer. The film can consist of half RDJ being a dick and half stuff blowing up and I'll be perfectly happy with it...

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Don't get me wrong I loved The Hulk and I'm actually scared the second one coming out will be crap compared to the first.
But Hulk was looong and the ending was just plain weird. They managed to merge Zzzax with the Absorbing Man through the idea that gamma radiation made them... which was just plain weird.
Apt, LONGHULK IS LOOOOOONG

Ive always been and Iron Man fan and cannot wait to see this movie...
Roberty D. Jr was a perfect grab for this role...(I hope)
Iron Man was always a bad ass... he has no powers, and he drinks to much and he can be an asshole...
plus he has more gadgets then the god damn Bat-Man...
and he drinks...
oh and Iron would wupp the shit out of Bat-Man... I'm just throwing that out there.

I will be going to see this movery every. Damn. Day. for aaages. No-one's anticipated anything this badly since Brood was waiting for his shipment of penicilin to clear up his little downstairs problem.
Plus, I heard they've ALREADY signed Downey Jr up to do two sequels. How cool is that?
God I hope they do House of M. Or Civil War! Those would be two kick ass films.

The couldn't even manage to tell the story of Galactus attack on Earth in Fantastic Four or manage to make any kind of sense in any of the X-Men films so House of M and Civil War would be impossible. Especially since no one but readers of Marvel would be able to make any sense of it.

The Thing was in the Fantastic Four. The White or Green, Yellow and Red android is Vision.
He was ripped in half by the She-Hulk. That made me happy.

I think a fake copy of him emerged recently. I'm not sure, this is just a rumour I picked up from penny-arcade.
Currently I think he's still dead. But he's been broken before.

According to Wikipidea, Vision is torn apart in Avengers issue #500 and I do believe that this comic is a part of the 616 universe. But then again I don't remember how long ago it was that the Ultimate universe was begun. (which I hate by the way)

Ultimate universe? I think thats the one that had a gay collosus right?
they like retconned everyones story and shit, made people look different...
Spider_man 3 was horrible, cliche, and horrible...
"oh go ahead and go free sand-man... I forgive you... I'm sure all the cops you just killed and millions of dollars in damages you just afflicted on the city will be easily repaid by your apology..." GTFO...
I wasnt impressed with X-Men 3 either...
Juggy is not a mutant dammit...

I can almost forgive X-men III it's many fuck-ups because of the best line in superhero history "I'M THE JUGGERNAUGHT, BITCH!!!"

That was a good line...
but then he knocked himself out and it undid all that coolness...

gonna have Gambit in it as well as the Canuck super heroes...lol..canuck super heroes...
(thats how we know its all fantasy )

I had no idea Iron Man was even relevant enough to make a movie about. That's what has my head scratching. I was a huge comic nerd when I was younger, and I thought he was the lamest tin can with lazers...EVER.
Has something changed in the last 10 years? Has Iron Man suddenly become a bad ass in the Marvel Universe?!
Not excited about this flick at all.
