I am at Bath University (I initially left out the "at", that would have been a bold claim :p). I wonder how many of us, at bath uni, are here, probably very few. I know Mez went to Bath, and someone else like Xaspian may go here.

I assume you are at Sussex University? :o

Hell yes, dont associate me with Brighton Uni for gods sake please.:hand::)

Something I've always wanted to know about Bath- are the people very clean there? :p

Anyways, I dont need to splash out on the expensive versions when I can make my normal versions better by forcing SE to sign them.

I'm going to have to hold off on RotCG and hope a local library will stock it... But for Toll of the Hounds I've got a buddy who is studying in Southhampton this semester and he'll be coming back a week or so into July. So maybe he'll buy it for me and save me the 20 USD shipping it'll take to get it over here.

Right with you on the covers, the US one is just not up to snuff. Who would approve that one when they've got the other one sitting right next to it?

As for Amazon, I recently preordered Abercrombie's Before They Are Hanged, and Amazon sent it to me almost a full month before its listed US publishing date. So, that was a nice surprise.

i really shouldnM't post this because PS Pub'ing will alter their strategy, but hey, the uber version of RotCG is already sold out...

I shelled big for NoK (about $65CAN) because there was no sign of it being released to the masses, and lo-and-behold, it did take two years+ before i spotted it in my local Chapters.

RotCG we're talking a wait in months, and while i do, truly, madly, deeply want the book, i draw the line somewhere and $150 crosses it.

I have, however, pre-ordered TtH from the UK, for speed and better cover, and will similarly pre-order RotCG from wherever i can get it fastest.

So what is the consensus for the UK release of TtH? 'Coz Amazon.co.uk no longer has a release date attached to it, and I'm dying over here.

Yeah, yeah, I've had it pre-ordered for months, but I wanna KNOW, dammit!

Oh, people from Bath are incredibly clean. It's the people on the outskirts which you need to be more careful with...they stink and spill dirt into the water...er...what am I talking about? :o Yes, people from Bath always have baths, every hour, without fail.

@Brood: If you can get the money up together in time :p

@Toc - end of June/beginning of July.

@Cult - I'm considering asking for them as a retroactive 21st birthday present :o

I contacted Bantam a couple weeks ago about release dates, and end June early July should be solid.
