Well, it's the 1st of June now.
We'll make a poll about this soon, so if there's any late entries, hurry them up!

Hi all, I just haven't had the time this month so I've attached a pic to show were I got up to. This wont be an entry for the competition now, but I'll still try to get it finished as it took me long enough to decide on a fun confrontation. :o

Well it doesn't have colour (if you were intending it to, that is)... but I still think it's good enough to be an entry, Smiles!

Is there any way you could, no doubt after the contest is over since it's too late now, but is there any way you could modify the Wickan's sword to be a proper tulwar? Should be fairly simple, and I think it would fit and look a lot better. That straight, broad shortish sword is just a tad ... jarring, in a cavalry scene. Just do a google image search for tulwar - Erikson didn't make it up, it's an Asian/Indian medieval & later cavalry sword.

Didn't Coltaine just use a single long-knife anyway?

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

yup:

'...the warleader of the Crow Clan showed the weathering of forty years on the north Wickan Plains of Quon Tali. His lean, expressionless face was lined, deep brackets around the thin, wide mouth, and squint tracks at the corners of his dark, deep-set eyes. Oiled braids hung down past his shoulders, knotted with crow-feather fetishes. He was tall, wearing a battered vest of chain over a hide shirt, a crow-feather cloak hanging from his broad shoulders down to the backs of his knees. He wore a rider's leggings, laced with gut up the outer sides to his hips. A single horn-handled long-knife jutted out from under his left arm.' (DG, UK MMPB, p.73)

or
Ygahtan's (sp) Fall/Ruin/ something poetic

Is Urb's Redmask pic gonna count? I don't see any problem in entering it, personally.

Should they be seperate? Because if you enter both of them they get an advantage don't they? Because you have two chances to impress someone enough to vote for them while everyone else only has one. If they are seperate the artist can still win, but with only one painting just as everyone else.
Because I like Onrakc's second painting much more than the first personally.

EDIT: Oh and smiles I think that is good enough to enter. I kinda like the way it looks like that. (though Karsa has no tatoo thing on his face)

Redmask shouldn't count because I don't like it. It's far from finished, and I don't think it would be any good if I did finish it, so I wont.
Just posted it so you guys could see it anyway ;)
The leader, his audience still,
considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"
