I'll just post now, might be I'm too busy tomorrow.
Did one of Redmask, but it turned out bad from the start.
If I can only submit one pic, the other one is my entry (the Seguleh punitive army).
Good luck to the competition. You'll need it. Hah! haha...

Note: This isn't an entry, this is just how far along I am in my Chain of Dogs painting. I wasn't interested in hurrying a rough finish, as the prize isn't motivation enough (I'm not all that interested in picking up Lees of Laughter's End - I want TTH or ROTCG, to be honest):

Those are ruins to the right, if it's not obvious, and the horses and riders are just placeholders to be painted over with different colors and details.

rightio these are the comp pics I done
this is the scene from GotM where Paran and Anomander have to fight of the hounds briefly before Paran is pulled into Dragnipur

in the chain of dogs there were many engages though I would pick this pic as coltaine covering a general retreat of the refugees with a cavalry charge coliding with the seven city rebels with wickan savagery

Yeesh, we're not miracle workers (or dumb/rich enough to give away a £75 book).
It's looking good though. Gonna be awesome when it's finished, glad you didn't rush it!

Onrack - I love that Coltaine pic.
Is there any way you could, no doubt after the contest is over since it's too late now, but is there any way you could modify the Wickan's sword to be a proper tulwar? Should be fairly simple, and I think it would fit and look a lot better. That straight, broad shortish sword is just a tad ... jarring, in a cavalry scene. Just do a google image search for tulwar - Erikson didn't make it up, it's an Asian/Indian medieval & later cavalry sword.

Once all the entries are in, one of the contest officials should creat a new thread with just the pictures, so we can look at them right by each other without having to sift through everyone's jibberjabber.

Holy shit guys, these are incredible! Surpassing even my wildest hopes!
@Kurt----gah, sorry. We don't really have the resources as of yet to give away something "inspiring" enough
  Still, your painting looks awesome.
Perhaps with the success of this first contest we can up the prize for the next contest
Still, awesome of Brood to give anything of his own. Cheers.
