Any idea who was the Thartenal who killed Gerun Eberict? At first I thought that it was Ublala Pung but it seems impossible he could kill Gerun and arrive in time at the Azath Tower to help Iron Bars against his gods.

I don't remember his name, I think it might be Unn or something, but the killer was a relative or friend of a woman Gerun Eberict kills.

Remember that family Bugg is called to as a shoulderman? The old lady that had been stabbed but had managed to crawl back to their hovel so that the kids would not think she had abandoned them?

Well, there was a big guy who came in asking what had happened. Bugg senses the strength of this guy and see's his intent.

Yeah. Apts cool like that.

I for one was incredibly happy to see him dead, and even happier that someone got revenge (therefore pleasure of kind) while doing it.

Who Aptorian. He doesn't deserve to die! maybe... he is a clown or looks like it... and clowns are inherently evil... maybe you're right. Unless you were talking about Gerun...

man, I didnt remember any of the part about the shoulderwoman, at all. I normally dont miss things. I thought it was ubala, the half breed. But I didnt understand the "for what you did to her" quote. Not that it matters but did he rape Gerun before jhe killed him? I dont know why I got that impression but I did.
I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter at the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."

Unn killed Gerun Eberict because Gerun killed Unn's grandmother, Urusan, for begging. Eberict was pissed off at the
time Shurq Elalle had just broken into his home and stole all the loot.

I think he was actually pissed off because Kettle was killing all his spies. He hadn't left the city yet when the grandmother was killed.

Grey is right, he was angry because his spies never made it back and just took it out on the poor woman. Oh well, he got what was coming to him, Harlest was way better though.

Ah yes.

I assumed it was Ublala getting revenge for Shurq's curse. Somehow I figured I had missed a reference to it but with Gerrun's brother being similarly cursed I thought there was a link.

Thanks for clearing that up! :)
