The ole lady's parents are moving across the country and we get to pet sit Sparky. Was supposed to be a few weeks and its turned into a few months. Not complaining though, he's the best wittle puppy.
Plus, him and the cat actually really get along. All they do is friggin wrestle all day.

That's our tyrannical cat in my parent's house, and I love him to bits. I wish I could have a feline flatmate here, but I'm not at home a lot and I don't have access to a garden. Hopefully soon, though.

man....I wish I could have a kitty.
The wife won't have it.
She really wants a dog though, and I seriously dislike dogs so I've put my foot down there.
It's only fair.

What if you both get a kitty and a puppy at the same time? They grow up together, best buddies and you get to enjoy the pets too. That would work- maybe?

I know it's not really an issue- hell most people don't even leave their flat much these days, but I'm not around for most of the day and I feel kind of bad about leaving my pet alone, then get home, cook dinner, eat, go to bed and not having much time to spend with her at all. Although, to be fair, the cat probably doesn't care, as long as there's food.

Exactly my thinking. Why have a pet if I have no time to spend- might as well just get a teddy bear. No ethical issues and all.

Yup, I was right.
Below on the left side there is the click to attach files button in the attachment box, click it and you can upload pictures from your hard drive with a maximum size of 2mb per picture.
It took a while before I figured this out when I first tried to upload a picture, trying to embed a movie still gives me a headache.

Snatched this picture off of google as i don't have a high-quality camera, but this is EXACTLY what my kitty looks like. She's amazing.
