Early announcement of server move Weekend of 21/22 this month

Best guess right now is that my hosting provider has changed owner. There were some network issues a while back and I couldn't get ahold of anyone there for an update. Even their phone number has disappeared off the website. So, since Linode has doubled their offerings recently, I'm moving back there. Most of the websites I manage have already been transferred and I'm looking to move MzE during the weekend of 21/22 this month, roughly two weeks from now.
It should just be a straight copy this time since I made the configuration and I have access to the DNS records. I'll be able to set the TTL's really low so the DNS should propagate quicker.
The new server is still in the U.K. and equal in terms of performance. As part of this server move, I've started paying for a new uptime monitoring service for the company to which MzE has been added. There are also some new security measures, stricter PHP pool configuration and better hardware monitoring.
Anyway, I shall get back to you once the final date has been decided.

On that note Xae, regarding the necessary materials for the move, i have the tractor, the C40, the herd of ibex, the ceremonial knife in the requested 66/34 obsidian/graphite blend and MC Hammer's pants from that video, but i'm having some trouble getting a Nixon mask with the proper number of wrinkles. Is Reagan (Ron not Nancy) circa 1983 an acceptable substitute?
...and i should probably mention i went with the Bulgarian ibex because the Swiss were bloody expensive. The only difference is one line from the chant and i'll have the appropriate translation in a day or two.

Actually, there's been a change of plans. We won't need the tractor or the Nixon mask. Instead, we'll use a cylinder of helium, some organic lubricant and three relatively lanky male volunteers. I already know of one who can be trusted with the knife and the Hammer trousers.

Translation: you might not be able to get on the forum for a bit as your computer won't know where it is, but this probably won't be for long because xae is awesome.

What's the link to the back up forum?
And Xae/Silencer, I mentioned this once before. I pay $27.95 every 3 months to a hosting service (powweb) for a company that never got out of the dorm room phase. But I kept the doman and host because I really like having multiple mailboxes, unlimited aliases, and a place to ftp large files occasionally. (such as the SVG file for the current game of eclipse.)
I would be just as content to pay you that money if you can add me to your plan and skim the price difference for yourselves.
(My registrar is gandi in France. Circa 2000, US registrars were still trying to claim they owned the domain name and just rented it to customers. Gandi was far superior in that regard.)

My ISP hasn't gotten my broadband set up in my new flat yet. It was meant to be all up and running yesterday but, for lack of a longer explanation, it isn't. So, the move might have to be postponed. If my Internet does come up and is stable enough by Sunday, I might still do the move then. It would happen mid to late afternoon, GMT +1.
Edit: OK, Monday is the earliest I'll see my Internet returning so the move will be postponed.
Send me a PM about it and I'll get back to you after I've gotten up to speed with what's happened whilst I've been offline.

So has server moved? If so well done, didn't notice a moment of downtime.

Unfortunately there has been a delay due to Xae's internet connection. Will let everyone know when we're onto it.
