I agree, but it depends how much of a gambler you are. It could be your faction that comes out smelling like roses.

Me, I'm not much of a gambler and I think (hope) you're right that we're more likely to give one Judge 2 lynches rather than one Judge 5 lynches. Still, when any lynch can come "dangerously close to fulfilling someone elses VCs" and make that even just a double lynch...

Following your own logic to its conclusion, especially given all the info that's going to fly around behind the scenes during the nights, you should be happier with taking a shot in the dark chance today and trusting to luck than waiting for a 'dem der hangin' judge t'morrow".

I've not included the Judges. If Meanas gets Mayor, you get Judge, Liosan gets lynched. So, as shown, Liosan - Meanas. I wasn't putting it in for a complete breakdown of the chains but to clarify who to vote for based on who you want lynched.

Welcome to another reading fail. Denul is lynched if you are Mayor. You have specified Merrid as your Judge, who has Denul as their Lynchee.

This early in the game* I have no real urge I'd spend a bullet on any way in particular. I'm disinclined to vote for Merrid/Fanderay based on their mutual love-in.

I'd potentially like to see you lynched for your actions so far - lover convos with randoms, not resetting your thread die, making me wonder what you've been spending all your other bullets on, it's by far the stand-out point of Day 1. Not that I have anything against people performing Cantrips left, right and centre but you're the only one to have taken that step today so it stands out. I'm actually hoping for more Cantrip use tomorrow, just to liven things up a bit. "Oooh, a, you're having a shoot-out with X, and b, you're rustling a sheep with that bullet you just used" style of thing.

I'd be inclined to swing at Merrid for lynch too for showing off actions performed, again the only one doing this today, or Fanderay for being such an ass about saying who they'd selected for lynching - as a result Merrid and you will not be getting my vote, guaranteed. Sorry you don't get XP for it and no hard feelings but that's how it goes.

Yes, I hope so too, after a Day with this much failing to understand the principles needed to get a lynch, tomorrow can only be an improvement.

There is of course the potential it'll make it worse Day 2, but by then every Role with information resources should at least be shooting not quite so in the dark so even if it isn't best for my team it might work out - say 2 of my team get lynched by a known judge tomorrow. Now, that sucks for Team Barghast. However, that also sucks for Judge - he has effectively outed himself as being from one of two factions needing Team Barghast out for VCs, everyone bar his own team will therefore have a vested interest in seeing him dead to work on their own VCs. From there we can work back and analyse his interactions and speculate on the rest of his faction and begin the culture hunt. So, judge is the safest place to be today due to people being pretty sure it is a shot in the dark, tomorrow it becomes very risky - can people believe you didn't know your Lynchee was that faction?

On lynching lio, the reason I wanted lio to be mayor over merrid was because of how he said he didn't want to be mayor, though it is possible, as was brought up, that lio did that on purpose so he would be voted for. I've seen enough people come right out and say they want Liosan as their lynch. Hasn't Merrid stated that he would lynch Liosan if he was elected Judge? You don't have to elect the same players 2 days in a row. Isn't it better to get the lynch people want and then iron out the bugs of the how to get a lynch going forward? You can spread out the XP from the Mayor and Judge postions to someone new every day.

I said lynching lio would be a possibility, but I'd rather look at other options until we got to a point where we need a mayor, and the only one with enough votes to feasibly become mayor is you, or someone who will put up a judge to lynch lio.

And now you're starting to seem a bit pushy. You don't say who you'd lynch as judge, because you "don't want enemies" and you push for yourself to be mayor so merrid can become judge. Seems like you have an odd preference for being mayor over judge, wonder why. The off thread comms with Merrid theory comes to mind.
