I am very sorry for the US-based players that you have a delay in the answers to questions so far, however, we will have a full timer stop for the weekend break and as monday is a bank holiday in the UK, we will be taking it easy then, too. On lynching lio, the reason I wanted lio to be mayor over merrid was because of how he said he didn't want to be mayor, though it is possible, as was brought up, that lio did that on purpose so he would be voted for. However, I'd rather lio be lynched and the day 2 judge doesn't get 2 lynch choices than a no lynch, though it wouldn't be one of my top choices.

Yeah, if Demelain chose Lock as Judge, I'm even less willing to vote for him given that we have only seen 2 posts from Lock. What are the chances that he has provided his choice for Judge?

We're going to be hard pressed to elect anybody, I'd say. Do the rules say specifically that whoever has the highest votes wins the election even if there isn't enough to meet the requirement?

the "i don't want to be mayor" crap is pure BS. anyone wants to be one of the chosen roles--it diminishes a chance they'll be randomly lynched, and gives them a shot at XP points. only reason anyone'd say they ain't interested in the job is to make themselves seem like a "safe" choice.

Not true. I'd be happy to be judge but being mayor sets oneself up to take a fall for a corrupt judge. Plus as much as I want the xp, I don't want people targeting me to stop me from getting the power up.

I've seen enough people come right out and say they want Liosan as their lynch. Hasn't Merrid stated that he would lynch Liosan if he was elected Judge? If that is the case why wouldn't you want to elect me as Mayor as I have Merrid as my Judge. The person that is on a lot of peoples lynch list would in fact be lynched. You don't have to elect the same players 2 days in a row. Isn't it better to get the lynch people want and then iron out the bugs of the how to get a lynch going forward? You can spread out the XP from the Mayor and Judge postions to someone new every day.

I said lynching lio would be a possibility, but I'd rather look at other options until we got to a point where we need a mayor, and the only one with enough votes to feasibly become mayor is you, or someone who will put up a judge to lynch lio.

And now you're starting to seem a bit pushy. You don't say who you'd lynch as judge, because you "don't want enemies" and you push for yourself to be mayor so merrid can become judge. Seems like you have an odd preference for being mayor over judge, wonder why. The off thread comms with Merrid theory comes to mind.

This isn't a defense of Fandaray, but rather a defense of anyone who is leery of putting their lynch candidate on thread.

When you vote for someone in a train, you are accepting a diffuse responsibility as well the fact killers might keep pushy innos around for wifom. When you are Judge, the responsibility is solely yours, AND there are likely plenty of day actions out there - choose the wrong lynchee openly and risk getting whacked.

I don't like the idea of an uber-powered judge down the line (considering some faction might be able to force an election or something through ability), so if we don't get a judge today we had better get one tomorrow. I should be around and willing to vote well before time out.
