Curdle/Telorast

I thought Telorast and Curdle were sniffing around in the First Maiden fort looking for Apsalar in RG?
It was my impression that she had returned to the fleet but left through a warren when they reached Lether.
Then again, if she really had travelled with them to Lether, I'd expected her to get involved somehow.

no, sisnce she wasn't part of the 14th at any point, she was just along for the ride to malaz City... and then ST cut her loose once she killed Pearl, the last person on the hitlist. She had no reason to go with the Adjunct. She'll either pop up up in RotCg, or more likely in TtH, where she'll run into Cutter and the whole Scillara situation...

Oh wow... I'm in need of a re-read. I though Lostara killed Pearl.

well, Lostara finished him off, but Apsalar's the one who white-paralted him, making sure he will die... at which point ST told her "not even Dancer".... and then said that she was free from the House of Shadow.

You might've gotten that from Telorast and Curdle talking to Banaschar in RG, but they are talking about Lostara. They call Apsalar "Not-Apsalar", but in RG they call Lostara Yil "Not-Not-Apsalar", and if you don't catch that it's very confusing.

I dread the prospect of a meeting of the Apsalars and Lostara Yil if told from a T/C point of view.

I like T/C. I enjoy sifting through their demented ramblings looking for shreds of truth.

Don't get me wrong, I like Curdle and Telorast, but dealing with Apsalar, Not-Apsalar and Not-Not-Apsalar would be too Monty Python too fit in the series IMO.
The Not-Not-Apsalar hasn't got much Apsalar in it....

Monty Python could no sooner see eye to eye with erikson than if you stuck a wall in front of Karsa Orlong.
Was that a compliment to Python or an insult to Erikson? think twice before you decide your answer
