Finally, here's the trailer!

I don't normally like Ben Stiller films but with Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. aboard, this just might work.

Downeys character is hilarious.

No that was Thunder in Paradise. I made a thread about it last year, but apparently no one else but MrXIII appreciated it :)

New trailer. This one makes it look even more insane.

I have to see this in a cinema. It's just too good.

I've heard about this film but I have patently avoided all trialers and spoiler stuff, I don't want to ruin it for myslef.
My housemate has read half the script and watched every released bit of footage and says it looks great, but how will he enjoy it when he knows exactly whats going to happen?

I was not planning on watching this based only on Stiller and Black, but once I saw Downey in it, it was enough to intrigue me.

stiller got old when every character he was doing was the same guy

you have the quirky sort of shy socially inept dorkass(most movies)
and then you have the douchebag toughguy(heavyweights, dodgeball, happy gilmore)

i like him better as a director and writer. The Cable Guy and Zoolander were movies he directed and/or wrote and I thought they were original and very funny(unlike most of the movies he stars in which are either real remakes or rehashes of worn out genres. night at the museum was probably the only movie of his that i really liked him being the lead other than zoolander other than meet the parents).

luckily, tropic thunder seems to be written and directed by him, which means it should be good. downey jr makes anything good though, like chris walken

Yeah, what he said. I like him, he's made me laugh my ass off several times, but it's gotten old. same problem as Will Ferrell.

I've never been a huge fan of Jack Black.
