I wouldn't be surprised to see him say farewell to Tehol now that he's Emperor. He stuck by him more or less just for fun and to kill time, the fact that they became friends was just a coincidence. Now that there is some serious stuff going on I'd imagine him setting out.

I'm not so sure about that. He has clearly stuck with Tehol because in him he finds something worthy....friendship. Simple as that. Mael knows there are others using his name on the other side of the world...and he hasn't done anything now...so why would he?

The only reason he kicked the crap out of The Crippled God is because he pissed him off.

It kinda seemed to me like Mael really didn't do much if anything to the Crippled God. If he had done anything significant wouldn't we have known by now?

I'm also hoping the Errant gets smacked around by our good buddy Ganoes.

I'd also like to see Tehol get another plot line just so we get to see the hilarity of him and Bugg. That stuff is pure comedy.

Well...from what I've gathered...the Gods just don't go killing each other...power draws power...and I think most of the Gods have tried for some sort of uneasy balance on Wu...until recently of course.

I mean others have speculated why Brood and Rake just don't go and find the Crippled God's little hut and smash him to pieces....but it isn't that easy of course...or they would.

I'm pretty sure SE loves Tehol as much as we do...and will no doubt find a way to keep him in the story.

theres goin to be a whole storyline continuing in the city of letheras for a spell in the begining of DoD, flesh out Brys new role, find out what Mael decides to do, the bonehunters arent just gonna march straight through. too much has yet to be seen there so im not worried about missing anything

There are some theories that he is travelling to Genabackis, not Lether. That's only one theory however.

Tell me, could you describe the distance from Seven Cities to Genebackis "half a world away"? Because that's what Spite told Mappo he'd have to do. And that doesn't sound like G, or Otataral island.

I also hope the Errant gets owned. He thinks he's so good. he actually challenged Paran, so it would not be amiss. The Boneys may have already left, because at the end of RG, Tehol mentioned that "before the Adjunct says goodbye", he'd have some matters to attend to. Mind you, they could come running back to Letheras after being cut to pieces by KCCM or gathering up the Barghast. Assuming they stay. Big ifs all around...

Half a world away takes 6 months or something to sail. That's if spite, the mule, mogora or pust doesn't just pull them through a warren. Everything in the end of BH let me to believe that they were going to Genebackis. Spite needs to meet Envy, Crokus needs to come home, Pust needs to meet Kruppe (IT IS INEVITABLE!!!) meanwhile the two Donkeygoth will sit there drinking tee and playing chess.

Why do everyone keep thinking that Paran is superior to the Errant? The Errant is a MASTER of the tiles, he ran the system for ages and ascended to become a god of fucking with people. Paran is new, doesn't know a fraction of what the Errant knows and doesn't have the experience in using the power.

I hope the Errant doesn't show up again, only in mentions of the cult spreading. I want an Oponn vs Errant ho-down one day.

god of fucking with people... I like that.. they should make all future glossaries state that as his title...

and the Errant and Paran dont necessarily have to fight, they might team up... I mean, Holds are still around and so need a master, and so do houses...maybe....

it would not suprise me if these two dont end up fighting...

The Errant might be a god but that doesn't stop him being an irritatingly egocentric maniac =p

Gods fall to mortals and all that; the holds and tiles seem to be being succeeded by the warrens in most places, it'd make sense (at least to me) if the master of the deck was to replace the master of the tiles eventually.

And who knows, Ganoes the god isn't that outlandish a possibility at some point in time.

I'm in the Mappo is not on Lether camp as well, I think they'll be seen in TtH on Genebackis in all likelihood so we might not see Mr Trell on Lether.

hm, i have had a thought. what if iccy designed all of his time devices to hold the memories of the time when he made it, and when he finally joined with the CPU on Lether. he could choose to travel to any one of his miniature hard drives, gaining memories on the way?

i just theorized this because if mappo is going to Genabackis, icarium has to be nearby. at least, i hope so.

I don't know- Bugg (Mael) has a reputation for distance and repudiation of the 'causes' of the world, especially those that affect his followers. He actively fights the influence of his worshippers on his power (I can't remember what page), and I think his reaction to Tehol's imprisonment is far more indicative of his motives. He throws down, hard.

Mael takes care of his friends, and damn the world.

But that's just what I got from it.

But we're talking about the fate of the ENTIRE world, I can't see Mael just doing nothing, especially given the incredible strength we've seen him show when agitated (come on, he screams, people explode, the world hears).

Heh, a Kruppe/Pust convo would probably be too much to handle. You'd have two guys talking about something absolutely profound (in truth) and you'd not understand a single word of that madness (on the surface).

i think thats why we all want it so bad, just so we can interpet it and live our lives by it.
