Does a Trade Paperback version of Gardens of the Moon exist printed by TOR? I own the rest of the series (so far) in Trade sized and would like to complete it. I cannot seem to locate it anywhere though. If anyone owns a copy, could you post the ISBN on here so that I can locate it. Trade is the Hardcover size paperback. Thanks.

I haven't seen that anywhere in the US.

I've seen the normal version of a paperback in GotM form and regular hardback.

Have you checked Amazon?

I think I have checked every major and alot of the minor booksellers. I can't find a thing. Blegh. Still hopeful though!

Have you checked Amazon Canada or UK? They probably have it.

Why do you want that particular version?

I own Deadhouse Gates, Memories of Ice, House of Chains, Midnight Tides, and The Bonehunters in the large paperback version from TOR. I'd like to have Gardens of the moon in the same format to complete my set. Just a OCD thing I suppose. UK and Canada both have the Bantam printing of this book. No TOR sadly.

And you got all of these in the US?

I never saw GotM in that version, the others yes. You may be out of luck :D

Just wait...other malazites will come and perhaps they can answer your prayers, though many of them live across the pond or north of the border.

You could always call TOR and ask if they ever had it available?

That's my next option, I'll give this a chance though.

Bantam/Transworld did a trade paperback version (the first edition, in fact, which is a fairly valuable chunk of tree), but I'm unsure if Tor did... I think they just did the hardback (with the woman on the cover) and the mass market paperback (without her). Sorry if that's the wrong answer :D

To reiterate what brood said but with a little more confidence in my response.

The only Trade copies of Gardens of the Moon were published by Bantam way back in 1999 and as brood says they're worth a shit load of money, he would know he owns one.

TOR only published Gardens in hardcover and when it failed to sell well they decided to start printing both trade and hardcover copies (and start using cheap paper, dust jackets, use less ink. etc. etc.) with the rest of the series commencing with Deadhouse Gates, thus you have a trade copy of all them except Gardens:)

You could get a trade copy from TOR but it would have to be a PROOF or ARC which as far as I know do or did exist at some point in time on ebay.

I'm hoping once all the books are out you can buy them in Hardback sets so I can have all of them in Hardcover...be a nice middle shelf on a bookcase along with ICE's additions.

I bought a First Trade of GotM on ebay :D It's pretty sweet. Just need to keep your eye open. They do appear there from time to time.

www.abebooks.com there is a seller in the UK that has it listed for US $152. So you can buy that if you really want it and have that kind of money
