Heh, I think I can one up that. The credit card I use gives me rewards back in the form of Amazon credit. We use that card for EVERYTHING and I get to use the credit for books. Oh, and they just changed it so that prime members get 5% of Amazon purchases back. On an average month just from our everyday bills (gas, grocery, utility) I tend to get between $30 and $40 to use, and then realize I cane get *one* more book if I only add $2!

Do you ever get the feeling the mailman dreads seeing packages with your name on it?

I buy off book depository. Always free shipping.
But when I don't buy stuff frequently, they e-mail me a 15% off coupon, dragging me back in...

amazon is sneaky too.
oh you're buying this?
did you know people who bought that book also looked at THESE OTHER BOOKS YOU NEED TO BUY RIGHT NOW AS WELL

Happens to me ALL the time...and the added amazon trick of "Oh, you're getting this one book? Well if you add another *insert cost of one or two more books* to your order, you get free shipping!"

ugh....I can never order just one thing from Amazon.

Amazon Prime.
All the free shipping for one low yearly price.
Worth it even in Canada where we get a fraction of the Prime goodies the US gets.

Every once and I while I see someone on a forum say that they don't understand how someone could have a TRP...these people are not to be trusted.

I finally bought "The Library at Mount Char" for my Kindle, yay for Amazon gift cards.
I also plan on buying Justin Cronin's "City of Mirrors" and am debating getting "Assail" in paperback; I already have it on my Kindle but am still tempted to get a paper copy. I have most of ICE's other works on paper, and it's not expensive on Book Depository. Hmmm, what to do.

Just wait until you get to the end...
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Amazon, it was quite cheap for a hardcover - around $10 in US currency

I've been double-stacking for a while now.

I think it might be time for another summer project to try to fit yet another set of shelves somewhere in my room...

Soon I'll have to buy an e-reader and contain my paper-buying to already started series, I fear¦ :D
