King's Dragon is back on sale @ the Book depository.
Must... Resist... buying urge....
I currently have 3 orders on the way (Since my mom needed 3 discounted Sheldon/Bagshawe novels, I picked up the 3 Short story collections from the Moorcock collection and the hardback "Metatemporal Detective" collection, which appears to be full of crossovers with both the Dreamquest trilo + the Second Ether sequence). I will NOT purchase anymore stuff until I get my tax return. That's a public promise/commitment
@ worry: it's my boss (and his wife, who is our manager). So that'd be a REALLY awkward conversation...

This is a solid, solid series. I just bought book 3 myself. Books 1 and 2 were great reads. Hopefully he sticks the landing.

Oh shit. It's been a long time since I've thought about that mess of a series.
Sorry Ment, we should have warned you.

I've been warned. But, OCD completion issues. Also, I didn't spend actual $$$ on it. When Chapters topped up my plum points to 50$, I preordered hadrcover FoL and had some left over-enough for 2 cheap mmpbs
I intend to do a power re-read of both deepgate bks (read @ home and in commute), and then do God of Clocks back-to-back. Shouldn't take more than a week.

Do yourself a favour... Read the first two and then write "and they all lived happily ever after except for all the killing and that apocalypse thing. The end." on the last page and then quit. It's not worth the disappointment imnsho.

"The Coldest War" came in. The new edition is diff. size from "Bitter seeds" Sadness.
On the bright side, the technicolour cover for "River of Gods" looks amazing.

Seven Forges?! That's six more than Erikson!
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

That'd be a pleasant surprise.
I preordered FoL pretty early, like fall 2015, but my card expired in 2015. I updated my account with the new card, but apparently they don't update actual orders with the new info, so I got a decline email today! Luckily Amazon doesn't cancel the order, but give you a window to correct the payment. Good to know! Hopefully this doesn't delay me even further.

FoL ebook just came across tonight! Gotta finish up FoD first, though...
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I paused the (not very advanced) FoD reread.
Will resume post FoL, then probably reread FoL.

Yeah, I've only got 120 pages or so left, so no reason to stop now.
