I just got this anthology entitled Mythic, edited by Mike Allen, that I was really interested in reading after seeing the talent assembled participating in it in some press releases. It features work by Catherynne M. Valente, Ian Watson, Matthew Cheney who is one of the truly outsanding souces of opionion on fantasy, so I'm interested in seeing his fiction), Theodora Goss, Joe Hadleman, Sonya Taffe among others.

Faust by Goethe - Long time since I read it, and it deserves a place on my bookshelf.
Didn't much like the live ships books I must admitt. Had a burning urge to scream; 'cliché' more or less constantly. Loved the farseer trilogy though, and enjoyed the tawny man books as well

I am ashamed, my pay check arrives and I forgo food to buy books.
Today:
The Summer Tree - Guy Gavriel Kay. I owned this a long log time ago. But since lost it among moves. Today I was thrilled to find it had been put in A&R with a new cover. First copy I have seen in 6 years.
The Second Chronicles Of Thomas Covenant - Stephen Donaldson I Just wanted the one volume edition of the three books. A waste of money maybe, but I feel better having it with the others.
The Hedge Knight - GRRM I paid for it today but it arrives in a couple of weeks. $40! I must be stupid.

I just bought Sailing to Sarantium by Guy Gavriel Kay, the first book of his I'm going to read. People recommended I read Lions of Al-Rassan first but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I have ordered The Last Light of the Sun by Guy Gavriel Kay, hopefully it will arrive in a week then I am going to read it at once.
So far, I have read Tigana and The Song of Arborne. I think Tigana is VERY good, while the latter is mediocre. I think, I am going to buy Sarantinum Mosaic, Fionavar Tapestry and Lions of Al-Rassan in a couple of months.

I finally got my Amazon.ca order, so Bonehunters is mine. It's mine, it came to me, I call it my preciousss. Also on a bookstore run this weekend I got Gardner Dozois 22nd World's Best SF, Richard K. Morgan's Broken Dreams (which I read at the library and now needed a copy for my shelves), and Peter Hamilton's Pandora's Star (waiting for Judas Unchained to go to paperback). But Bonehunters is mine. It's my precious.
