I'm with Imperial Historian. Reading Thursday's post I just thought, "Oh yeah... that did happen." In fact the most memorable events for me after book 6 are the ends of books 7 and 9 (which was one of the top scenes in the series, in my opinion).
KoD was a big move in the right direction, and it was a decent read, but it did not capture the excitement of the first half of the series. It did set my hopes for a huge climax in book 12, so I do hope that it finishes on a high note that would have made RJ proud.
Quick Tidal, enjoy the series, and don't worry about putting it down and taking a break during the latter half.

Not at all. I'll keep reading definitely! I'm only taking breaks between each book to read some other stuff so I don't tire them out. The Great Hunt is on my to-read pile right now.
