Mules and hinnies are almost always sterile

A female mule, called a "molly", that has estrus cycles and can carry a fetus, can occasionally occur naturally as well as through embryo transfer. The difficulty is in getting the molly pregnant in the first place.

sadly there probably will not be any children from such a mating (thank god)

Krupp, Tehol, and Quick Ben, is a meeting I itch to see. Krupp is a master of gathering information and possibly magic, Tehol is business master of finances and, Quick Ben a master of trickery and magic. In MoI someone, (I forget who,) speculates that if K'rul was going to manifest himself again in the world, he would choose the most intelligent person as an ally, IE Krupp, then mentions QB as a very close second. Then there is Mael the elder god of the sea that is entertained by being Tehol's manservant. I would say, based on this, that the three most intelligent and clever people in the world are, in this order, Krupp, (the Eel able to outwit everyone in Darujhistan,) Quick Ben, (able to outwit the CG,) and then Tehol, (able to out finance all of the Letheri Empire.) If the all to meet, it would be, interesting...

Sorry to spoil your hopes, but I really can't see Tehol going anywhere, esp now with all his new-found duties... as for Kruppe and QB, they've met. They played dice. QB was furious.

I have always thought that Tehol, though brilliant, was a little narrow in his understanding of the world. Lether is repetedly shown to be 2 dimensional because of all the power and rituals unleashed that isolated them. You also see the stunted conception of magic and Wu in general.

I agree that Tehol is likely to stay close to his home (plenty to keep even an elder god man servant busy), but I also bet that Kruppe finds a reason to make his way to Lether.

My guess is that Bugg rides off on the Mule of darkness while Tehol and Kruppe try to impress each other with two headed bugs.

But, Kruppe ultimately leaves in disgust when he samples the shoe leather and chicken feather sticky buns...

I am sure he is on top of things now. The learning curve will be sharp but brief with the bonehunters drawing dragons and ascendants left and right all over Lether.

Not to mention that QB will be quickly in the spotlight. I am sure Bugg will notice him.

Hmmm, I wonder if QB and the Errant tangle?
