According to SubPress newletter, most of the books listed before GotM went to the printer recently. So I'd hope GotM is in the next batch, should be anyway.

Ok I just got an email from. Amazon CANCELLING MY ORDER!!!!! Said they are unable to deliver the product. On top of that they claim they never charged me and won't be refunding my money. Now I have to dig up my old bank statement to prove this and then try to order another copy, probably for more than I originally paid. Fucking great.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Ouch! That really sucks! What method of payment did you use? If you used pay pal you should be able to look up your history and get the invoice number to prove you've paid. Or you should be able to just call Visa or Master Card for verification. That is really bad customer service.

No I just used my visa, I'm not worried about getting my money back but I am worried about getting the book I've been waiting on since march! Are there still copies available?

It depends on which one you ordered. Only the limited edition is still available, the lettered edition is sold out.

Yea I just looked on SubPress website, they have limited editions still (but it doesn't say how many are left), so I would suggest ordering fast. So hopefully you went with limited to begin with.

Any more updates? I'm a lazy heathen with only handsomeness, intelligence and charm to rely on so you can't expect me to actually search for any updates myself, can you?!

Just posted the revised version of the cover art, as well as a superb Anomander Rake wraparound (which will grace the lettered edition, I believe) on the blog.

Man, Michael Komarck rules!!! :p

This probably means that this one should be headed for the printer soon. . .

I like those. Although the wraparound doesn't have Dragnipur dark enough, imo.

And I still don't like Rake's hairline in the first....

But they're cool! :p

Yea I agree that the swords seems a bit on the lighter side, but overall is a very impressive offering.

Hopefully Pat is right that it will be going to print soon. Now I'm just hoping it will come in time for the holidays.

Hey all

I'm a long time lurker and reader but never posted. Anyhoo I signed up for my copy of the limited edition of GOTM back in May and like you guys have been eagerly awaiting it. Following the latest shipping update from Bill at Subterranean I asked him when we might see the finished edition of GOTM - hopefully before Xmas. Here's his (almost immediate) reply:

"It should be at the printer in the next two weeks. We're waiting for final versions of the revised main cover, and the lettered cover. As soon as those are in, we review it all once and for all, and send it to the printer. It won't make Christmas, but I'm hoping it won't take much longer than that.

Best,

Bill"

So looks like 2009 it is. D'oh.

Ordered the numbered one myself, and was really hoping for it to arrive this year. So kinda dissapointed, but also not, because shortly after Christmas is pretty soon regardless :(

Also, will the art of the next volumes be made by Komarck as well? Even though he doesn't know what a deadline means ^^ he does deliver insanely impressive stuff, imo anyway, so I wouldn't mind him being the house artist for all of the numbered editions. Wouldn't mind at all actually :(

I certainly hope he will continue to be the artist - it would be kind of a shame to see the style change between volumes...

DO SO WANT!!!!!!!

I think we should start discussing what scenes we would want in the next one. Maybe we can get Patrick to forward our ideas on to Mr Komarck and he can start working on them early........sad part is I'm not kidding.

I will throw out the scene at the very end of the book were the marines are checking the bodies on the trees on Aren way.
