on page 578 mappo is having a flashback which refers to the nameless ones being sworn to a god once and something about some of them bowing to a new master. this section confuses me, was this ever more fully explained.

Not sure how much i can reveal? Its been a while since i read that book. Well longer then 3 days which is my memory span.

What was i saying?

The new master is the Azath.

The God before ?? I have no idea. The NO and The Spirit Walkers were all one and the same or two arms of a certain cult way back. I've never seen definitive reference to who or what their previous deity was though.

But saying all that i could just be not remembering right.

Did i mention the Azath??

yeah the nameless ones' master is the Azath. later on in the book, Mappo and Icarium and the other dudes go into the house of Tremolor. inside the house there were 4 figures wraped in vines. then mappo(?) said "Its a shame that the Azath's worshipers get killed by their very master/God" (or something like that)
