Tellan is a place that the Imass call 'home'. Yet their native land is Wu. As well, we see that the jungles in a fragment of Tellan has a very earthly (or Wu-ly) natural environment. Also, Omtose Phellack is a place Jhagut call 'home', though they're also native Wu-ians.

I think that both lands existed on Wu as their respective races' homelands, but have been migrated to another realm, or barren planet, like K'rul has done with the surface of Jackuru. So that before, in their day, tapping into either Tellan or OP is just using your native earth/spirit magic like Wickans do, but now, using them is in fact, using a warren.

I assumed Tellan was all the memory and land the Imass raped to create the ritual of undead. It echoes everything so intimately because of that fact.

With the Jaghut i think you are right. It is how the Warren / Hold manifests itself from their own personoas and wants? Future echoes of memories?

WHAT!?

Can you tell ive come hom early from work as my daughter is poorly? Can you not feel the elation that i copped out of 2 hours of work.

OH YEAH!
"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

The best way to understand the Holds is to think of them like memories. A hold emulates the world at the time in which it was created. Tellan and Omtose Phellak are very old and thus represent a world that is extinct. Tellan being very wild and "natural" emulates the more primative time of the world when the Imass were mortal (right before the ritual of tellan) while OP emulates the "Ice Age" that the Jaghut brought about (or that perhaps helped shape, liberate them).

So even though the World itself evolves, the Holds created retain the image of the world as it was at the time of said hold's inception.
