Another ST moment i loved was near the beginning at the house when QB and Trull demand to speak with ST because cotillion is being vague about thier destination. When they demand an answer he responds that "It is as cotillion believes...the rooster died of loneliness." Then vanishes with a giggle.
Another funny was when Tehol muses to bugg about Rucket getting stuck in the doorjam in her fat suit.
Funny bits

I'm not on board the hellian loving boat. i think she's more sad and pathetic than funny, as wel as being frightningly dangerous to her men. Crippling addictions just don't tickle my funny bone.

I'm not tall that keen on her either. She's a good change from some of the others, but maybe she could do with having a more serious side?
A part that made me burst out laughing was when LT Pores was walking away from Kindly, muttering under his breath something about combs, then he realises that the captain's following him and is right behind him. FUNNY.

Tehol's 'proper' greeting :heyhey:
Hen soup (or was it tea) with feathers.
Deadsmell to Balm: If you like them that way.
I heard some complexions are to die for, and I guess that's what you did.

Karsa meets Ublala. Ublala drops to his knees. Karsa slugs him. "You're Toblakai. You kneel to no one!"
Later, Samar to Karsa: "Your new follower couldn't even find your room."
- Abyss, loves the tuff luv.

Abyss: Nefarias Bredd.
Absolutely.
EASILY the best thing in the entire book. It is an in-joke within an in-joke, you have to go back all the way to HoC to get it, and in two words it tells you EVERYTHING, from the fact that the legend fo Bredd has grown, to the fact that Lostara has picked up about it and knows to use it as the excuse to avoid the blame on any soldier, to the fact that Tavore knows that such a soldier doesnt exist as shown by her very brief smile.
And this is why Erikson rules. So goddamn exquisite.
(And I got it immediately! )

Two more:
Ublala Pung: "She's got breasts and stuff!"
At this point I laughed out - loud. And had this stupid grin on my face for the longest time!
Also, Samar Dev: "I should have had sex with him! Then I would have known!"

Actually the Samar Dev line pissed me off.
But the Nefarias Bredd thing was funny if a little laboured. I quite like Hedge and QB's sparring...

I love all the humour in the books... I find it witty and unexpected... Cheers:D:p
Bugg: 'What will you be doing today, master?'
Tehol: 'Why, I think I shall go back to bed.'
