This is an odd one here. RG *spoilers*.











They arrive before the end of MT, the prologue says so. Now, the White Faces show up at the end with Tool and Hetan. However, for them to have been on the canoes at the beginning, MT would have to be set at least partly after MoI. Which doesn't tally with all the other evidence - even within the book, as there's a line about how they didn't arrive in time to save the Grey Swords - who were found after the Edur invasion. Therefore the implication is that there's an extra half-million Barghast wandering around, who also happen to have special canoes with special swords (as they were dismantled round the prows - where the swords were in the canoes the White Faces found).
That or SE made a mistake.

Anyone else got thoughts?

was wondering about this too Especially considering how long it would take making that amount of canoes.. Also the number of Barghast with Tool did not seem to corespond with the amount who landed by far.

Noticed it as well, i have sorta tried to blot time line issues out for this series as they are all over the place anyway.

So if we look at it at face value then yeah there should be more barghast kicking about, but i'm not so sure there are.
