Where is the Crippled God's island? I don't remember reading where the island actually is, although I read MT rather quickly. I've just assumed it's near a Meckros city (or was near).
Also, at the very end, if Mael can go and beat up the CG, why don't the other Ascendants do the same? Then he'd be in too much pain to hatch evil schemes of world domination.

I always assumed it was a nascent realm. Recently created or a basic base for the CG. He needed to be chained somewhere?
I think Mael was a little cheesed off and basically lost the plot. The beating of the CG will satisfy Mael's need to poke him good in the eye but will do nothing more then bruise CG.
Both are ancient Gods and probably cancel each other out. The negating effect is probably why Mael or any other powerful God hasn't bothered. While his tent ( His realm )is down and over CG eyes as it were. Mael is rightly sticking a few required, cheeky jabs in there.
Personally, an elbow drop always works best.

"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

The tent is a fragment of a warren, I think, and can appear anywhere. Can't remember, but do you see Mael come back out of the tent? Maybe the Crippled God beat him up.
Get to the chopper!

I think the tent was a warren, but the island was somewhere in the real world. Then again, the fact that dead Rhulad could manifest there does strongly point towards the whole thing being a warren.

Just finished re reading MOI. Towards the end Whiskey Jack and Dujek are having a chat over a beverage.
Dujek mentions that the CG's warren floats about from place to place and it was chance that it turned up in the mountains between Pale and Darujhistan where some Bridgburners were patrolling and where QB could get the lay of the land.
Warren it is then.
Perhaps his tent is His Throne? If that's the case it probably one of those inflatable ones you can get whilst camping. No not the ones for Piles those bright red or blue ones that require three grown men or one great Aunty to blow them up.
It being his throne then the base of his power within the wandering Warren. Just like my thoughts.
Im fine thank you Susan

I think the wandering warren you refer to, Flawed, means only the tent.

Perhaps he is tied through the chains to a fragment ( all be it a small one ) of Kurald Emurlahn. Chained through it to Burn. Those pieces wander because they are lost giving him access to WU. Also would tie in nicely with his direct link with the Edur.
That or a trip to Millets sharpish to get some stronger tent pegs?
Muse...
