Did anyone else get the feeling they were working together: Poliel to sow disease, Soliel to withhold health to further this idea of "burning out" Burn's fever? I feel sorry for Poliel - she was trying to do the right thing, after all :-)

And why did I - previous to reading TBH - have the idea that D'rek and Poliel were the same entity? Was it a popular guess in here before that I may have picked up on?

Even if they weren't working together, they were still sisters, so I can see where Soliel's sympathy for Poliel, and her anger at Paran comes from.

As for the confusion between D'rek and Poliel, I thought the same thing at one point. You'd think with the Season of Rot and all those worms some diseases would happen. Guess not though, since they chose different sides in the war.

Could somebody please confirm my thoughts on these sisters. The descriptions given in BH (p. 544 & 554) made me think they were Forkrul Assail.
Am I right?

I would absolutely love to learn more about them and the Forkrul Assail in general. We have not heard an awful lot about them. As I can remember Karsa freed one and in Midnight Tides we encountered one that fought against Kenryll 'ah demons.

Would like to see some of their history revealed.

Think the Forkrul will be discussed in ICEs books.

Silchas Ruin told Kettle that he killed a LOT of FA. And their solution to all problems seems to be killing everything in the vicinity. I'm looking forward to Karsa's next encounter with an FA.

I liked the FA a lot more before Calm went and slaughtered that village in MT. (Or was that Serenity? I forget the names.) Right now they're about on par with the T'lan Imass in my book as a bunch of murderous if well-intentioned madmen. I hope the Jaghut wipe out the lot of 'em.
