Now that I?ve got your attention, Hi everyone! Nice to finally come on board the forum.

Anyway, the bare bones of it is that Traveller (Dassem Ultor??) kills/confronts Anomander Rake. Here?s why;

1; First we have to go back to HoC, Bk 3, Ch 12. Cutter meets Andarist, who carries a sword, which ?Its maker named it Vengeance?. But I call it ?Grief?. We are told that it was made by Anomander Rake.
Following Andarists death, it is taken by Traveller, who, told the two names, chooses Vengeance. ?Traveller studied the blade in his hand. ?Vengeance,? he murmured, then nodded?

2; Next we jump on to MT, Bk 1, ch 1 & Bk 2, ch 7 where the foretelling of Feather Witch using the Dragon Hold are what matters. Here I?ll refer to both at the same time;
Queen, who must be slain again and again by every child she bears/lies dead and may never again rise. OK, easy it?s Tiam

Consort, who loves none but himself/writhes upon a tree and whispers with madness of the time of his release. Not sure, but have a funny idea it?s a cross over between Osric/Serrit both connected to the warren of the Air.

Liege, servant and guardian and doomed to eternal failure/is lost, dragging chains in a world where to walk is to endure, and where to halt is to be devoured. I reckon this is Draconus

Knight, the very sword of chaos itself ? ?ware his path/strides his own doomed path, soon to cross blades with is own vengeance. That sure as hell sounds like Rake. Soon to cross paths with the sword Vengeance he created.

Now, I know Rake is Knight of Darkness not Dragons, but I believe Erikson gives us some hints. During a conversation Seren Pedac has with Buruk, she states that all the Edur gods are just ancestor worship. But it is later revealed that they are soletaken dragons. Also, the Ceda states that the Letherii culture has simplified the holds, not expanded upon them, so perhaps some knowledge was lost. I believe the Dragon Hold would be better described as Soletaken Dragon Hold, after all, once the paths of magic were created, ?real? dragons left, so they could have no influence. The gods that exist in Wu are ascendants.
As to why the two fight, absolutely no idea!
