So the play offs are kicking off, and I know this board has at least a few Hockey fans. So who are we all backing to grab the cup, since the Hurricanes can't reclaim it.

I'm hoping for a Red Wings victory but it there are a few teams who might just out do them.

Ha! Edmonton crashed and burned this season. Makes me happy.

The Wings/Flames series will be a good one. Go Flames!

Although I can't see any NHL in Barcelona, I regularly look at the internet for the results. I'm going for Pittsburgh. Definitely.

Although I am still crying for the last two games of the Canadiens, I think once it is mended my heart will be for Pittsburgh in the east and Vancouver in the west.

I hope Canal+ Finland will air lots of playoff games.

GO SENS GO.

- Abyss, conveniently overlooking the fact that only bcs TO was eliminated, the Sens may actually have a chance this year.

That Vancouver-Dallas game was brutal.

Maybe it's because I'm an attention-deficit Usian, but hockey is general is hard for me to watch. It's fast paced like basketball, but hardly any actual scoring.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

2-1 Wings at the start of 3rd perriod. 20 minutes to go so I guess it's anyones game still.

I'm dissapointed that I've not seen a Zetterberg goal since his return, that said glad he's back in the lineup.

I have the distinct feeling the Flames are going to be swept in 4. They have very little zip at all. They lost their last 4 regular season games and now look like 2 playoff games in a row. 6 game losing streak in the playoffs is not the sign of a winning team. Disappointing.

3-1 final score. Still Flames might do something special on home ice.
