Hey, i noticed this passage, like one of those short passages that start some of the chapters and it talks about how, of all the powerhouses at his chainings and all his enemies, the Crippled God never predicted his greatest enemy of all...
So who do you think it is? Is it a general thing, like mortals or humans? Is it Shadowthrone or Cotillion or Quick Ben?
Who do you think ends up bein his greatest enemy, and yes, I realize a lot is still to come... honestly just like chattin with other people about these books.

I've always thought it was Lady Envy, as she is one person we have been explicitly told did NOT attend the chaining, and her absence had some bad consequences.

Without being told explicitly we can safely assume that Paran, Karsa, K'rul, Draconis, Silverfox, Tool, Kilava and Ruin weren't at the last chaining. The avowed and other CGrd powerhouses probably weren't there.
The list might be much longer than that(Gothos, Togg&Fandaray, Treach...Icarium), so it's still anyone's guess who the CG's greates enemy is.
It's probably not ST, though. Kalam believes Cotilion was at the last chaining, and if he's right then it's a good bet that ST was involved too.

I got a funny feeling that it's Fener. Something tells me he's gunna make a big comeback.

If I recall correctly, the next chapter featured ST or Quick Ben in a prominent role--but I don't even remember which book it was (MOI?), let alone what chapter. Anyway, I remember thinking at the time it was one of those two, and more likely QB.

I figure it's Fiddler - book ten, last ten pages or so, he puts a cusser-loaded munition up to the back of the CG's head and says "This crossbow shoots moranth manufactured cusser alchemical munitions. It can blow a Hound of Shadow into the next warren. Thing is, in all the excitement, i can't remember if i already shot two, or three. So ask yourself, punk, do you feel lucky? Do ya?"
- Abyss, no, is not taking this seriously, why do you ask?

If Kruppe turns out to be the man who thwarts the Crippled God, I'm going to kill myself, then haunt the f*ck out of Steven Erikson.
Then do a re-read just to see what I missed.
Then haunt those twats on Most Haunted.

Who would win in a fight between the CG, Icarium, and Karsa?
*ducks*
Not that it's relevant, of course...
