I've read The Lon-Tobyn Chronicles, his first trilogy, and it was a good read. I've been meaning to read The Winds of the Forelands for over a year now. That second series of his has garnered some very good reviews.

I should try to contact his publicist to see if I can score some review copies!:D

read Winds of the Forelands... and the one after it.... entertaining, but it dosen't have that 'thing' to keep you reading after you put it down to go do something. Also, its not hard to put down.

I didn't enjoy the Lon-Tobyn chronicles as much as I enjoy the Winds of the Forelands- Winds definitely has a moral ambiguity and he gets into the heads of the antagonists nicely, showing the why they are doing what they do and getting a, "Well, I don't like them, but it's understandable" vibe.

I also like the fact that the main character is, at first, a complete and utterly detestable bastard.

I don't buy him in hardcover, but when I see a new book in PB by him, I definitely pick it up.
