I really want to use a word I used on Malaclypse earlier today, but I fear the outrage of forumites with teenage daughters and the like :D

So, Rake either isn't in or does not die in RG! That's something, at least.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Gardengnome I have to say that on this ocassion (prude as I am) swearing would be quite appropriate...I did say it was all about context...I think a poll or thread on how we would like to punish Kallor (:D *)for his merciless baiting is called for.

@Blind - Silverfox, why didn't I think of her...she has to be on the list!

(*Kallor hasn't got his own smiley has he? I suggest this one! Grr and gnashing of teeth noises)
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

ooh ooh! I have one too :morgoth:

Rake is not dying? Or will we just not weep for him? I assume the first, though Pallor might just trick us again the bastard :D

Thank you, bwgan :D

Kallor, you're a cocktease.

Now, this might seem offensive. And in a way, it is. However, let's see it this way.

You're a tease. But you're more than just a tease.

You're the bloody king of tease.

You tease me so much I get a boner.

Thus, a cocktease.

You could, in fact, take it as a compliment. But only because you're a cocktease, and thus inherently evil.

ETA: Images, none of these are offensive.

Dammit Kallor, that means Tehol must die.

And that makes me sad. :D

I'm sorry bwgan, I don't want to believe it either :D

But SE does know best, so we'll have to forgive him his perceived transgressions :D.

I've got to say, I'd love to see Pust and Mogara bite it. Preferably in some kind of emotional scene, where they admit they're crazy about each other. ;-)

(Keep Feather Witch alive. I like her. Her and Karsa all the way, man)

Tehol and Kruppe. After all, they share a soul.

Come to think of it, I really wouldn't care much if Tehol died. Somehow, he doesn't feel human to me, I don't care for him in the same way that I care for Trull or Udinaas or Seran. I occasionally laugh at his jokes but that is as far as it goes. His death would come as a surprise, but, unlike previous mentioned characters, I wouldn't mourn his absence in the serie. Maybe his jokes. But not him as a living person. Am I alone in feeling that way?

Ok, I have to ask. Why would anyone like Feather Witch as a character? She treated Udinaas like dirt all through MT and only got worse in BH. She's got no redeeming features as a character at all as far as I can see. I would like to see her get whipped by Samar Dev or (better) get the chop from Karsa.

bwgan: Given the current discussion, I've suddenly become very careful with my choice of words. Refering to you was mostly a joke :D

Kalam, Quick Ben, Dassem Ultor and Anomander Rake. I hope they all lose a fight (and do it in a humilitating/ no doubt who is the loser way) sometime soon, just to get their annoying fanboys to shut up.
Maybe it's not a big problem here but it would still be very amusing to read everyones whining afterwards :D

Otherwise just the usual suspects, Korbolo Dom, Mallick Rel and Rhulad

But a genius nonetheless :D

@GG ~ I knew that...I was talking generally...an anyway you didn't really think I wanted to see something rude did you  I keep telling everyone - I'm a good girl, I am :D

I agree with you, Reborn.
And Lorn, I think you're onto something. All of those characters except Karsa have been around since the first book. Oringial characters don't seem to have good chances of living through the entire series. And juding from what Kallor said, I think both Fiddler and Quick Ben are good candidates for who bites it this book around.

I got a feelin trull is going to kick it..

And Karsa, because there is something unexpected about seeing a "howardesque" character die. Shocking.

Surely Quick Ben & Ganoes Paran are "essential" characters for the final battle against the CG? Almost any other character I can accept being written off as expendable, but don't those two need to live in order to triumph in the end?
