I don't know what Ozric Tentacles are, but Infected Mushroom is a legend of psy-trance. it's the go-to band when you want electronica mixed with sophisticated harmony and rythm and accenting.

Ozric Tentacles are a pyschedelic rock band, so not as up tempo or anything but similar in some respects. They have a trancey sound in some tracks. I guess they have a more spaced out sound and this lends a more chilled out feel to a lot of their stuff.

What I like about the RATM campaign is that it was purely designed to mildly annoy Simon Cowell. Cowell's act sold 200,000 more copies than the X-Factor single last year. His bank manager will not be complaining at all. All this does is say, "The Christmas #1 isn't yours automatically, sunshine,".

I also like the idea of it being the 'biggest chart upset in modern history'. The BBC were suggesting the last time there was a surprise on this scale was Englebert Humperdink preventing the Beatles getting 11 #1s in a row. And that was forty years ago.
