MIDLAKE - Head Home
A great song, that really reminds me of early Neil Young, or CSNY. Really nice.

THE DECEMBERISTS - Yankee Bayonet (I Will Be Home Then)

They do some really cool songs, with some very clever lyrics and literary devices. But can be a bit pompous at times. This is a great song though, as is most of the album "The Crane Wife"

I accept defeat! I cannot argue that it is one of the best bass solos. If you can play it, you deserve rep. ;)

THE MELODICA, THE MELODY and ME - Ode to a Mountain

A random song i came across but i love the acoustic guitaring in it. Bloody awkward name for a band though, despite thir love of the Melodica. Don't know where i find half these bands.
