Nightwish - She is my sin

has anyone actually read this whole thing ;)?
I have stolen princesses from sleeping barrow kings
I have burned the town of Trebon
I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life
I was expelled from the University at a younger age most people are allowed in
I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during the day
I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make minstrels cry
You may have heard of me....

You must spread some rep around before giving it to zale again.

This will have to do.

Death were incredible. Sound of Perseverance is my favourite. Its a masterpiece.

RIP Chuck.

Hes probably jamming with Dime in hell. Jesus fucking christ that would be a gig!

Get A Life by the Freestylers (Roni Size Remix) - The best word to describe this tune is epic.

Sinnerman and Feelin' Good both by the incomparable Nina Simone - which may be two of the most wonderful songs ever recorded.

Cry Me A River by Julie London - the best version of the best kiss off song in history.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

Depends where you're coming from. If you like more melodic stuff, go for Symbolic or (maybe) The Sound Of Perseverance, if technical-ness doesn't scare you (which it shouldn't). Symbolic's easier to get into, but not quite as good once you're there.

If you like technical death metal, start with Human or Individual Thought Patterns, because they're both heavy-as-a-really-heavy-thing, fast, vicious, and face-meltingly groovy.

If you like thrash or old-school death metal, try Scream Bloody Gore or Leprosy, because they're messy (compared to the others), brutal as heck, filled with gore lyrics (but not Cannibal Corpse level, don't worry) and just plain fun to listen to.

Not just worth checking out - worth owning everything by!

Dream Theater - Under A Glass Moon <-- buy Score too, it won't dissappoint!

Lunatica - "Avalon"

I second the recommendation for "The Sound of Perseverance". Sooooo good!
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.
