I heard some of the lack Dahlia murder in America, I quite liked it but I can't really remember it. Are they worth checking out at all? And how can you say 9/10 for Killswitch Engage but not In Flames or Children of Bodom? I like Killswitch, don't get me wrong, but those other two bands are better!

Early in flames vocals annoy the hell out of me, and new in flames is bland.

Bodom are cheese.

I like KSE because...well, I do! Heavy, but melodic, aggressive, but never abrasive.

Check out Miasma for dahlia. They arent a really great band by any stretch of the imagination, but they're certainly some quality extreme metal!

Anthrax, Room for one more.

Their first two albums weren't that great. However, I have two things to say to you: Clayman; Come Clarity.
Two amazing albums. The rest aren't that bad either. Colony has some great tracks on and Reroute to Remain likewise. Their drummer is incredible, and they have some kick-4$$ guitar solos!

Yeah but on their "Are You Dead Yet?" album they have a quality death metal cover of "Oops I Did It Again" which sold it for me.

I will have to listen to some more of their stuff. I only have one of their albums, "Alive or Just Breathing" so maybe I will get some more.

Yeah they sold out ages ago here, as well... It would have been a sweet concert though. What I want to know is where all these Dragonforce fans came from... No-one I know has ever heard of them, so there must be some fans around...

Come claritys probably my favourite: less of the hacksaw going through a rusty zinc bucket vocals and more interesting musically than STtYE or RtR (which I also sorta like).

Old inflames iron-maiden-but-withshrieked-vocals-and-less-intersting-riffs style just never took me. I liked clayman and the jester race best though.

Jimi hendrix - Come on Pt 1 .....wait, no thats finished and winamp has served up cryptopsy - equivelant equilibrium.

STtYE is pure pop music. I didn't like that album much.

Jester Race/Black Ash Inheritance and Lunar Strain aren't good. But they were trying to find what sound they were good at. By Colony they had nearly sorted it out, and Clayman was a masterpiece of quality melodic Death Metal!

I'll re-listen to clayman. Now, in fact.

Morbid angel - Hellspawn the rebirth

Off to change that....

In Flames - ...As the future repeats today.

Its OK, but not really grabbing me (much as before). I liked the openning riff to pinball map more than I rembered, though.

I think Gothenburg (melo-death, whatever it gets called) just isnt my thing. Bar at the gates, who get kudos for inventing it. Hypocrisy are OK, too.
