Suuuuch a good band, I highly recommend their music.

Good albums to start off listening to would be "Comalies" and "In A Reverie". Their latest is pretty damn sweet, but the other two I mentioned are better (in my opinion).
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

Yeah I was listening to it while reading "What's hot and what's not in 2058". :)

Do they still sound just the same? I can digg Ænima (guessing it's because that's the first album I heard of them), but the rest sounds too similar and somehow just not right.

Motörhead - Love Me Like A Reptile

Guess who's going to see these living legends this summer? Oh yes, that'd be I!

Just got Karmacode, so I will let you know what I think when I listen through it. :) I must check out Isis as well.

Isis are indeed sick. Beautifully crafted arrangements. I reccomend oceanic or panopticon. Mainly panopticon, because my personal favourite Isis tracks on it: grinning mouths.

Earlier isis is much doomier, oppressive riffing. Newer isis is more sound-scapy.

Pelican - Nightenday

sunn 0))) - It Took The Night To Believe

@ D Man - have you heard The Life and Times? They're on tour with Pelican (who I still need to hear) right now I think. A three piece rock band, featuring ex- 'Shiner' frontman, Allen Epley.

Great, but even better: Rearviewmirror.
Any chance to hear the new Album? It's really cool.

Footnote: Pearl Jam does not mean that Pearl got jammed.
