Listening to a band called "Bison" and their album called "Quill" They are a very folky band with a pretty simple but lovely sound. A couple of times I have almost been reminded of Firefly from the banjo/cowboy sound! Other tracks are a bit reminiscent of Mumford & Sons but less frenetic and I guess more range in the vocals. Really nice stuff! Anyway, their whole album can be downloaded free & legally here. Check it!

Didn't want to embed videos, cos I'm shy, like :)

I like them, but the other two are too sad!

Ah, never heard that word before so I thought it was a neologism you created, I should have looked it up.

Decided to make a few ringtones from tracks in my music library, and this quickly became my favourite. The first 40 seconds work really well as a ringtone, and it means i can enjoy my phone actually ringing.

SONGS OHIA: Body Burned Away
Nice, slightly depressing song, which won't surprise anyone familiar with the works of Jason Molina (a.k.a. Songs:Ohia, a.k.a. Magnolia Electric Co. )

I love him (esp. Axxess & Ace, and The Lioness), really sad about his personal struggles. I dunno if it would make a good ringtone, but the organ hum in "Being In Love" is one of my favorite sounds in all of music.
