Playoff fever is starting to get a little crazy here in Minnesota - we haven't had much to celebrate in a while. And tonight we see if Peterson has indeed learned what to do when a team expends its entire defense to stopping him - he claims he has.
I think that NE will run the table - I can't foresee anyone beating them now.
If Dallas loses one more, the NFC Championship game is likely to be played in the land of ice and snow.

I can't believe the Packers could go 14-2 this year. If we end up playing Seattle, I hope it goes too overtime. Remember the last time? Hasselbeck wins the coin toss, and says "We want the ball, and we're going to score!" Ha! Didn't quite work out like that. Screw that guy.

Now that Dallas has lost one, can they lose another? If so, home field for the NFC championship is far north of Dallas and Romo might have to play in the snow...

one to go
Against what will most likely be a 3/4s strength Giants team. I know Coughlin wants to rest his starters, but I would bet a good amount of money that every single Giants player wants to spoil that record.
I've never liked the execution of the "rest your starters" idea. Three quarters on and one off sounds like a good mix.

The patriots are just the latest in a long line of boston/New England teams who have sold their soul to the devil.

Too bad the Pats perfect season will be spoiled, by a playoff loss to the Colts! bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Also, I'd love to see a game between the Pats and the Jaguars. Hope it happens.

I think the injury to Roosevelt Colvin might have changed the entire Patriots defense for the worse. When he went down, Adalius Thomas had to shift outside and that leaves Seau and Bruschi in the middle - neither of whom are anywhere near their primes or operating at near-Pro Bowl levels.
They might get a play here and there, but I constantly see them unable to shed blocks and actually get to the running back, which is pretty crucial for inside linebackers. I wouldn't be surprised to see more 4-3 from New England in the playoffs, with Jarvis Green coming in for Seau.
What in the hell happened to the Giants in the fourth quarter? Kawika Mitchell was out in the first quarter. I doubt Madison's abdominal strain was that crucial. I know there were a couple bad plays by the safeties, but they absolutely collapsed.

I like these AFC predictions! This scenario would lead to the Jags traveling to New England. And I'd very much like to see *that* game.

Being a Seahawks fan is tough
Controlling that game for 3 quaters then suddenly *bam* behind by 1 then the special teams error and we are looking down and out. If Suisham kicks that 30 yard field goal I think we struggle to win but he missed and suddenly the Skins hit the wall *bam* and we can believe again.
The rest is history and on we go to Green Bay. Go Hawks !!!

Washington 29 carries for 75 yards you do the math!

Ok...my math works like this:
Brett Farve > Matt Hasselback = Pack Win

I hope it goes to overtime again!
"We want the ball, and we're going to score!" -Matt Hasselback, shortly before throwing a game losing interception.
