haha, I agree. I hated that "fumble" call.

But sadly, the Jets lost it for themselves with the awful first half performance. The defense could not make a stop and the offense was weak. I also hated the play-calling when the Jets had 4 downs from the 1 yard line. You have LT and Greene, just punch the ball in there. Wasting two downs with Sanchez throwing is terrible.

If there could be some way for both teams to lose the Super Bowl, I'd like that.

It's called a "Meteor Game." In which one hopes the only winner is the meteor that crashes into the stadium as the two teams play.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I had forgotten how good it feels for my favorite team to make it to the superbowl. This is great. I think I heard the packers are favored by 3.5. Should be a great game. It's an interesting matchup, I don't get why so many people are disappointed that this is the superbowl.

I'm disappointed as far as the 49ers aren't in it but that was something I got over a few months back. :p I think I am going to root for the Steelers purely based on the fact that the Packers are who they support in That 70s Show and I can't stand that TV program... :p

Better than the Pats v. anybody.

I'd have rather two teams that hadn't won a SB be in it, like Atlanta v. Chiefs. But, I suppose I'll cheer for the Packers seeing as how I hate the Steelers only slightly less than the Pats and Chargers.

Completely agree with this- when I don't have a rooting interest I really like seeing teams who have either never made it or never won it because I think it's cool for the city and fans to finally get to see their team in it with a chance to win it all.

In this case, I really like Mike Tomlinson as a coach but I can't root for Pittsburg and, outside of football I think Big Ben is complete piece of crap so I'll be pulling for the Packers in this one.

I actually have sort of liked the steelers because they are such a storied franchise, but I don't really care about the AFC most of the time. I like the matchup because it's two old fashioned football clubs.

I find this to be a somewhat important Super Bowl for the Packers, since it would take us out of the shadow of the Favre incident.

The Chiefs don't exist btw. They are a figment of the NFL's imagination.

Old Fashioned in what way? Certainly not by playing style. By franchise management style, I'd definitely yes though.

I believe that might be the best way to end a season of NFL football...

Well, at least it was a good game. And the Pack deserved to win.

Dammit.
