GRRR! You guys are lucky if it is all SF&F! At my local Waterstones it was only certain titles (naturally, not the ones I was looking for). So in the end I went to Ottokars e.and found a 3 for 2 deal ther Once again, it was only on selected titles, but I got Vellum by Hal Duncan, Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny (All of the first 5 in there).

I have book tokens a plenty to spend, but I want to spend them wisely...

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Does the same thing apply as with games, where things sometimes cost the same amount of pounds as they do dollars?
Because that's really annoying. It's actually cheaper to import DS games from the US than it is to buy them in a shop here sometimes

.

Most of the time, it is. Every time I went to London I was shocked by the price of books, CDs, etc. Even at the duty free shop at the airport, things were still more than 50% more expensive than back in Canada. . .

The 3-for-2 offer at Waterstones ended yesterday. Annoying :)
