Fat Felisin?

L'oric healed Felisin, not Heboric.
The most interesting thing about the Teblor right now is Dayliss's child. I'm really curious as to what will come of it, especially now that 'Siballe is dead, and also what happened to 'Siballe's army.

Leoman wasn't even in the oasis. Do you mean L'oric?
But even so, fairly sure Heboric healed the incumcision, as he did for Scilara.
- Abyss, was on the grassy hill.

Dammit! Yes, I meant L'oric. When he finds her, he gets together all of his healing stuff to fix her up. Gah, I hate mistakes like that.

Just because certain glands have been removed doesn't neccesarily mean you don't have sexual desires. Her hormones are still produced, and there's no telling if Bidithal sexually abused Felisin and didn't just brutally mutilate her in an unclean and disgusting way (unless of course there's a scene I'm forgetting).
Add to the fact that desire is as much psychological as physical, and her desire for Crokus was apparently quite powerful.
Also she did change the plans of the cult, since her interest went from plague ridden apocalypse (as was her vizier's wish) to over indulgence. Though this fits in perfectly with the CG wish for self destruction, only instead of plague it feeds directly from human flaws towards excess and indulgence. Which will eventually destroy a person, civilisation and society from the inside, far more insidious.

Felisin was mutilated in the same way that scillara was and had pieces of her flesh cut away.
"Toblakai?s glade. She remembered now. She had crawled here. And
L?oric had found her, only to set off once again. To bring medicine,
water, bedding, a tent. He had not yet returned.
Apart from the whispering slither of the snakes, the glade was silent.
In this forest, the branches did not move. There were no leaves to flutter
in the cool, faint wind. Dried blood in folds of skin stung as she slowly
sat up. Sharp pains flared beneath her belly, and the raw wound where
he had cut flesh away ? there, between her legs ? burned fiercely."
If Loric had the ability to heal Felisin it seems highly unlikely that he would be going off to fetch medicine. He would simply have healed her.
And as we've already seen Heboric perform that duty on Scillara it seems pretty clear that he could have done that at any time for Felisin when they were travelling together.

The "procedure" described is female circumcision, which sadly enough exists in the real world, to varying degrees. It ranges from a ceremonial nick with a blade just for tradition as a rite of passage, all the way to complete rermoval of all external female genitalia. Then, if they want to get really nasty, they sew everything shut, ensuring that the girl can never have sex without pain, and will therefore never derive any pleasure from the act. I have too many female friends who took a lot of women's studies classes, if anyone is wondering why exactly I know so much about this. It would seem Felisin falls towards the drastic end of the spectrum, but not all the way as she does apparently enjoy sex.

Is a clitoris necessary for female orgasm? I guess that what I love about forums is how far the threads always seem to stray...
The reason I labour the point is because I wonder why everyone seems to think that Felisin had to have been healed from Bidithal's surgery in order to become hedonistic and indolent and under the influence of the CG. There has been no evidence for any healing, by anyone ?
More interesting to me is the confluence between the new Salvation unaligned (and hence Felisin) and the CG as Deathslayer...

The female orgasm is a myth. So is the clitoris - they're like the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot, plenty of people swear they exists, no one has ever found them. Just kidding, of course. I'll ask my wife. She's a doctor, so maybe she knows. My guess is it is possible for a female orgasm without a clitoris, but much more difficult, especially if it has actually been removed. Many women who still have theirs can't reach orgasm without clitoral stimulation, so I'd imagine it would be that much more difficult if some sicko had cut it off. Anyone want to nominate this thread as the most bizzare on this forum?

'Were Dancer and Kellanved gay?' gives this one a run for it's money.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I asked the wife. She says yes a woman with no clitoris could reach orgasm, but it would much more difficult, and of course would not be a clitoral orgasm.

Scillara can't have orgasms after what Bidithal did to her. Bidithal didn't just remove the clitoris though, he also removed parts of the vagina itself.

I don't think it ever says specifically what he did to her. I could be wrong though. If you've got a page number I'll check it out.

It's what Bidithal did, and Heboric healed all that, so I can't see why he would not have done the same for Felisin
