Most Loveable Character

How could modest Kruppe be anything but most loveable? Wedded as he is to Pure Loveability, keeping frequent company with Judicious Use Of Power, spending an occasional night out in the Entertainment District with Humourous Discourses?
Second Choice (of course), Lady Envy. Who is often annoying, but always deliberately. And who always seems to use her awesome (and annoying) powers to blast evil-doers, according to the measure of their evil-doing. (Can't wait to find out what happens when she shows up on Seguleh Island with the 3 Ronin.)
Third Choice: Greyfrog, eternal protector of spawning ponds.

I think Trull Sengar is my favourite character hes carrying so many emotions within him, questioning all he does. I have a bit of a spear fetish too and he is simply amazing.
Lady Envy always gives me a bit of a kick when i read her bits.

Cotillion...by the end of TB, I felt like putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. Who probably needs a hug most now is Panek. Witnessing Apt's death must have been devastating.

Yeah Cotillion would definitely get a hug! Kindly's leutienant is hilarious too. The amount of crap he takes from Kindly without completely losing his sense of humour is amazing! I especially liked when Kindly orders him to stick corks in the defecating marines and all he can do is pray they're finished by the time he gets there. Classic.

The obvious answer is self.
In all humbleness i guess I need to mention a few other names .. so here goes:
¤ I do like Trull for his rightous and standup role in HoC. Someone who can awake such things as feelings and even respect in a T'ian Imass needs to be on a different emotional level. I might not call him loveable, but well ... he is a character one gets very fond of.
¤ One might not call a man that cuts through almost everything the empire has, as far as assasins goes, for lovable. But the sheer determination, and the comittment, going through a mission he knows (believes) he will not survive, one just gotta love the guy.
¤ Quick Ben, the level of risks this fellow takes, and the games he palys, almost put him on the same level as a certain humble character.
well, I guess there are so many more, thats the beauty of SE, he creates so many characters one falls in love with.

Most lovable would have to be Kettle. The way she made everyody around her a family member was funny, sad and touching at the same time.
Just got to the part where Apsalar breaks down at the news of Crockus gone missing. She needs a hug the most I think. She is also by far my favourite character.

First Whelp called me a lady, then Illuyankas told me that Martin's books are full nice lovable characters, doing sweet, kind things for one another (OK, I might be stretching what he said a teeny, weeny bit, but I know that's what he meant!) and NO sad things and now Asandir has started this thread :banana: Way to go Asandir :wave: (I can't actually believe I just typed that...I think I am having my teenage crisis...pity I never had one when I was a teenager :eek: ).

Well, I have a hard time comparing between books, since the characters are so embedded in their context. For Bonehunters, I would say I liked Hellian the best. Her single minded determination (to get drunk), the hilarious outcomes of said determination, and yet when the heat was on (sorry) she came through. And stayed sober enough to get her crew to agree it was important to aid her on her great quest.
