sorry if I missed it, but I don't recall ever seeing them mentioning what his warren is, except that it tends to trigger a lot of things. So what is his warren?

If I recall correctly, it's not his warren that 'triggers things', but how he channels it. As far as I know, however, it's never mentioned what warren he is using.
MoI p155:
Quote
Paran waved buzzing flies from his face. 'Mallet, what warren does Spindle call upon?' he asked quietly.
'It's not his warren that's the problem, sir, it's how he channels it.'
'It's not his warren that's the problem, sir, it's how he channels it.'
As far as I can remember, that's the only time they ever mention it.

@ Blewin
Well Spindle used a warren that Attracts Ghosts. So that seems to lie in the direction of Hoods Warren.
EDIT: hangon, upon closer usage of my brain I believe that I am mixing Spindle up with Toes.

oh, can Spindle's be the Imperial warren?? maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Don't mages of the Empire use the Imperial warren?
I didn't know that Trotts uses warren... I just thought he's got ghosts hanging around his toes.

He's not talking about Trotts, Toes is another Bridgeburner mage. And while I imagine imperial mages use the Imperial warren to travel, I think that's it. That is, from what we've seen, the only way to use that warren.

Yeah toes is the one with the ghosts. That's why he has the toes
The Imperial warren is nothing more than a dead continent. K'rul fashioned a place within him that Nightchill and draconus helped drag the continent into.
I think has something to do with elder magic or natur/necromancy.
I'm guessing Spindles warren was something like the opposite of bottles... but since Bottle doesn't show up yet in the books I won't start elaborating since I can't figure out how to make the spoiler tags.

Maybe he channels Drek's warren... Ya know the god who encourages legbeaking and stoning of dog's... There could be a a Jahgut/imass type thing between the worm and domesticatic animals. Their ancestors worshiped drek only to find out it was really a worm and were so embarrass they swore an unending feud...
... Yes, this is definately it!

but Bottle's is not called a warren, yet they call Spindle's a warren.... so Spindle's magic HAS to come from a warren, right?

Well they might think it's a warren... i mean only a savvy mages would be able to tell right, your common grunt would just assume it was a warren.
