Yes, when Bill Murray is trying to her out of the possession by the ancient Sumerian God, Zul, who is a giant ravenous dog! My little brother loved that movie and so I watched it with him like 50 times. I think I still have alot of the dialogue memorized.

the prologue?...you don't want the prologue; it would just force me to have to pick a new signature from later in the novel, and you know how that will just make you sooooooo mad...isn't it better this way? you don't have the prologue and i keep my signature....

Just a thought but do you actually think Rake will show up? With that sword of his there would be nothing the Crippled God could do to bring back his little tyrant king...
As for main character, I've always thought that it was the collective bridge burners there were/are the main character(s)...
On a lighter note, the one character combo I'd like to see would be Krumpe and Mael... They are probably the most powerful set of crazy people I've ever met

now for a proper response...
Rake in RG...well okay seems pretty likely. Normally characters we meet in the prol do show up sooner or later in the rest of book. This leads to the question that we might see Kilamandora in the book (if that is who the other person is Rake is speaking to in Kallor's sig), which would be pretty cool indeed.
As for main characters...well the one thing this novel seems to be based around is the Crippled God. If there is to be a main/central character my vote would go for the Crippled God. But imo in a world where a simple artisian is introduced and made to have some sort of background, even if he appears for less than 3pages there can be main/central characters.
As for offering me as a sacrifice...you'd like that wouldn't you Morgoth? wouldn't you!? No...better we work together on this. Defeat the Twisted One nad his minions and steal the prologue and bring it to the holy land

since you asked so nicely, i may request the prologue. but not until after i have found an appropriate replacement for my signature, which means it has to wait until i finish books 3 and 4 (and most likely re-read books 1 and 2; in fact, i should really start at the beginning again...i wonder where my copy of 'gardens' is)...
