I agree with Hetan that it seemed pretty certain that the killing of Sorrit was down to Scabby.. and Mappo's comments were very interesting. Could Scabby have killed Sorrit in such a ritualistic way in order to become a soletaken dragon. I know we've heard of Rake and Silchas tasting Tiam's blood, can't remember if the same was said of Scabby. He certainly seems the type to want to keep up with the Jones's or in this case the Andii. The potential effect of the otataral on him is interesting...I'd say it warped him, but if he was already spiking dragons and drinking their blood......... well not really....
all he has to do is to get the edur together to do a ritual and then he could take down sorrit,,
look at the 3 dragons chained in shadow realm... they were chained due to rake and his andii not rake alone

Actually, I got the impression it was pretty much just rake, but that's fairly open to interpretation

Could not the dragons have done this themselves to spawn the child of indescribable terror. Which is the otataral dragon(Soletaken).
