Norwich, Palace and Southampton go down... well faught, but unlucky in the end.
Well done to West Brom
And of course, how can we forget, Man City missed a penalty in injury time against Boro, meaning Boro and NOT City get the UEFA spot

We can loose ARSEnal their title tomorrow if Chelski win today and we get a point or more.
Revenge will be sweet after they won it all at WHL last year

Aww, poor you
I would agree Bullock needs to play in the third test. He's the only hooker on tour who seems to understand how to throw into a lineout, and did an excelent job of captaining against Aukland. Unfortunately, because he did play in that match, I guess he's out of the tests

Heheh. I may be a pom, but I also know a bit about rugby, unlike the majority of the population

Its true, neither Bolton or Everton would stand a chance in the Champions League... they'd get annhiliated.

A Liverpool upset for me too. They have this ability to rise to the occasion that will ensure they beat Milan.
Oh yeah, and Utd are going the wipe the floor with Arsenal.

Newcastle- decent generation of young players there though. Like the look of N'Zogbia and Taylor to complement the likes of Jenas, Ameobi and Milner.

Saw the game this morning: 21 - 3 to the ABs!
Dominant display and result by NZ. Shame O'Driscoll got injured though. However I doubt it would have changed the end result.
Now, that clean sweep looks promising.......

That ain't saying much though, is it? We're still (even after all these years) in need of a replacement for Schmeichel, and I don't think he's it.
Park may be decent, I've not had much chance to see him play, but as a replacement for Giggs, he won't get a huge amount of play unless Giggs is out. So... a few games every couple of months? I might be wrong there.
Discounting Scholes and Keane (on his way out soon), I don't think we've got anyone else of note in CM at all. Fletcher, Miller, Fortune and Neville are above average at best, which imbo isn't good enough for us. Kleberson should have been great, but he's never been given the chance to shine. 1 game out of about 20 isn't enough for him to make a mark.
Which all adds up to a huge problem if your defence has problems. Which let's face it, is Brown and Silvestre in a nutshell. Neither can get through a game without some kind of blunder. We have to thank our lucky stars that for most games, we don't have to play them both together.

To be fair, Brood, they still have Gilberto Silva, who is a decent defensive midfielder. Viera was more though, he was a box-to-box destroyer of teams. They need to sign at least one experienced, proven central midfielder because no way can Fabregas and Flamini last the season. Jenas is not who I mean. Edgar Davids maybe.

Out of them
N'Zogbia is average to poor
Taylor is promising but needs someone with an ounce of talent to mentor him (we don't have anyone!)
Milner is a good player
Shola Ameobi is not quite there.
Jenas thinks he's a superstar (ie. better than he actually is) if he kept it simple he would be a good player.
On second thought, I agree with the assessment of N'Zogbia. Kinda reminds me of Cheyrou. Taylor is OK for 19, but yes, the likes of Bramble, Boumsong, O'Brien et al. aren't up to much mentoring. Ameobi is a goalscorer, and quite a talented one, but needs someone playing him in more often. If you don't want Jenas, can we have him? Fergie and Keano would sort him out quicksmart.
Brood, lol the gulf in quality between the top 3/4 (depending on which Liverpool turns up on any given day) and the rest really shouldn't be a laughing matter. Bolton in Champions League? Dear lord...
